The Mac app uses Swift and Apple’s capture frameworks. The Windows app uses Electron with a native capture integration. Editing and export happen locally.
What changes?
Every screenshot and recording feature is included. Existing captures stay on your device. The account and billing services have been retired, and signed app updates continue.
Help test the release
Try display, window and area capture, microphone recording, timeline editing and export on your own computer. The Windows app is a preview and needs testing across real devices. Keep private information out of bug reports.
